b.          &nb= sp;     Check vital signs and provide First Aid as needed.

c.      =             Contact Camp Director, parents and Camp Health Staff.

d.          &nb= sp;     Secure Camp Health Form for Hospital Emergency Room.

e.          &nb= sp;       If Situation involves = an accident, complete UWSP Accident Report Form.

f.          &nb= sp;       Send copy of UWSP acci= dent report form to UWSP risk management office and deliver a copy to the Camp Health Staff at the next mealtime.

b.          &nb= sp;     If camper is covered u= nder UWSP camp insurance, Camp Director to get camper to complete an Insurance Accident Claim Form.



When NOT Life or Death Situation
   =

During Regular Business Hours   7:45 to 4:30 Monday      through Friday

a.          &nb= sp;      Provide First Aid as n= eeded.

b.          &nb= sp;     Contact University Health Service………………………̷= 0;……346-4646

Location……= …………………………̷= 0;……..Delzell Hall

c.      =             Arrange for appointment. Assign camp staff member to accompany camper.

d.      =           Contact Camp Director, parents and Camp Health Staff.

e.      =             Arrange transportation= to Saint Michael’s Urgent Care or

f.      =             Emergency room. Protective Services will transport ambulatory (move under own power) campers.= If person is unable to move under own power, ambulance will be calle= d.

g.      =            Secure Camp Health Form.

h.      =           If Situation involves = an accident, complete UWSP Accident Report Form.

i.      =              Send copy of UWSP acci= dent report form to UWSP risk management office and deliver a copy to the camp Health Staff at the next mealtime.

j.      =              Camper to complete an Insurance Accident Claim Form if applicable.

After Regular Business= Hours (E= venings and weekends)

a.      =          Provide First Aid as n= eeded.

b.      =         Assign camp staff memb= er to accompany camper to St.    &= nbsp; Michael’s ER/Urgent Care.

c.      =           Contact St. Michael= 217;s ER/Urgent Care in advance…346-5100

d.      =         Contact Camp Director, parents and Camp Health Staff.
