ACHA

The American College Health Association (ACHA) is the principle advocate and leadership organization for college and university health.  The ACHA provides advocacy, education, communication, products, and services as well as promotes research and culturally competent practices to enhance its members ability to advance the health of all students and the campus community.

The Trip

Every year SHAC sends a group of members to the American College Health Association's Annual Meeting.  At this meeting students will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and understanding of the university health system through networking, professional development, continuing education seminars and the exhibit hall.  SHAC members who attend the Annual Meeting are expected to bring back the new ideas that they have learned and help implement them here at UWSP.

This year the 2009 Annual Meeting will be held in San Francisco, CA on May 26-30.

To attend you must be an active SHAC member in good standing.   Preference will be given to the most active returning members so that information can be brought back and used for the upcoming year.
